ToolByte.co is designed with privacy in mind. Most tools process data client-side in your browser. However, some advanced features (such as NLP-powered text processing) require server-side processing to deliver enhanced functionality. When server processing is used, we process your data in real-time and do not store, log, or retain any of your content.

Local vs Server Processing

Local Processing (Client-Side): Most tools perform all operations locally in your browser. Your files and data never leave your device. When you close or refresh the page, all data is cleared from memory.

Server Processing: Some tools (like the Title Case Converter with NLP) send your text to our API for processing. We use Natural Language Processing to provide accurate results. Your text is processed immediately and returned to you—we do not store, log, or retain any of your content on our servers. The data exists in memory only during processing and is immediately discarded.

Analytics

We may use basic analytics to understand how our tools are being used and to improve the user experience. This may include aggregated, anonymous usage statistics.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to save your preferences, such as theme settings (light/dark mode). These are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

Some tools may use third-party libraries or services. We carefully select these to ensure they respect your privacy and do not transmit your data without your explicit consent.
